The Google brand has made another major move and joined forces with the music industry. Next week music will be an addition to the worlds most popular search engine. It will allow Googlers to purchase music and view pages of artists that will include album artwork, song lyrics, videos, and song snippets.
 
Some details have not been revealed as of now but it can only help a failing industry. It will allow easier access and more visibility for artists and bands. The sale of music will be outsourced to online retailers ilike and lala. This will provide another lane for music sales and put Google in competition with digital sales leader iTunes.
