This CD is definitely Old Skool Prince. Prince’s fans from his earlier days, who miss this part of his creative style, are sure to enjoy this album. No doubt (*haha* – I just dated myself… I said “album”). I have enjoyed Prince’s talent and creations over the years, myself (I’m 43), however this particular album isn’t my favorite and seems a bit repetitive musically. I DO love the bonus track which has an entirely different feel than the rest of the songs however. I found it sadly funny when I read a reviewer/music critic bash this song partly because of “Prince’s attempt to Rap.” I guess this critic doesn’t know Prince very well… He was “rapping” before rappers were rapping! I guess you could say Prince invented rapping (jk – he most likely didn’t – just having fun).
Regardless of my opinion of this current CD, I still think Prince knows what he’s doing, and look forward to his future projects… and his concert this Wednesday (Whoo Hoo!).
PS: I actually appreciate that he’s not so nasty/dirty anymore with his music…. it’s not necessary with his talent.
Prince never fails he is always on top of the game, he rocks everyones world. His music moves you in away no one else can.
much love 2 u brother, but u have left ur first love, CHRIST!
Wow! Pardon my bad English, but can’t nobody make good music like Prince…and ya’ll know what I’m talking about.
