Tokyo Flash’s newest watch, Changing Lanes

Tokyo Flash watches are manufatured in Japan with each timepiece having its own futuristic style. On some models telling time might take some time with abstract LED displays where dots, lines, blocks etc. replace hour and minute hands.

On their site Tokyo Flash shows current models available to buy, while their blog is set up like a open door design studio to showcase concept watches and other gadgets.

Instant Trend concept watch

The Instant Trend (above) is one of the freshest concept designs on the Tokyo Flash blog. It brings social networking to your wrist by showing tweets and Facebook updates directly to the LED display.

Using Bluetooth you can sync the watch with your phone. They don’t say if you can reply back on the Instant Trend, so it looks like it’s just for checking out what your Internet homies are up to.

Here’s some other dope watches by Tokyo Flash…

The iWatch borrows some of the same functions of other Apple products such as “slide to unlock” used on the iPhone and iPad. Features include Wi Fi, 16GB of memory, a weather forecaster, and a LCD projector to show videos and pictures.

LaBiche Aerospace created a 3D model prototype for the first flying car. The FSC-1 resembles a high speed sports car similar to a Lamborghini in body style and design. That is until the bottom of the car doors flip up and half of the hood opens and plane wings fold out.

Labiche claims the car will reach a top speed of 275 miles per hour with 450 BHP horsepower and will be the world’s fastest car. But Labiche Aerospace says that 275 mph is its top speed “in the air” so wouldn’t that make it the worlds slowest plane? On the ground as a car it can go 180 mph. Takeoff speed before you start flying is 80 mph.

The power under the hood comes from is supercharged Chevrolet-LS2 C6 Corvette 2005 crate engine. The FSC-1 flying car is a gas guzzler when it’s not flying, drinking a gallon every 15 miles in the city and 25 on the freeway.

When you switch the FSC-1 from car mode to plane mode you need to speed up to 80 mph to take off. LaBiche Aerospace says the car (plane) is in production and has a “order form?!” on their website and a interactive video to see the car plane switch from car mode to plane mode.

The Burst is a mobile phone concept by LG . Its many applications give the Burst computer functionality with projector capabilities. Features include media editing, video conferencing in HD, and projecting images onto flat surfaces. The projection feature takes touch screen phones to the future and projects interactive images/documents with a virtual keyboard. The projector can also become a web browser to turn the LG Burst into a laptop you can fit in your pocket.

The burst uses sound and motion sensors to take gaming and listening to music to the next level. The LG Burst also has features that make it usable by the hearing impaired. As of now it is only a concept but a great idea.

This design would make any gamer hide their 360 and throw their PS3 out the nearest window. In the last pic, that spaceship on the right is the Xbox 720.
