Check out the first gameplay video of Michael Jordan in NBA 2k11 above. The screenshot shows 2k Sports did a good job on making MJ look realistic. New features in 2k11 include The Jordan Challenge which lets you lace up Mike’s Air Jordans and re-live classic games like MJ’s 1997 flu game, game 6 of the ’98 NBA Finals vs. Utah, and when Jordan dropped 69 points on the Cavs in 1990. Also you will be able to play with 7 Chicago Bulls teams from the MJ era (1985-86, 1989-90, 1990-91, 1994-95, 1995-96, 1996-97, and 1997-98). NBA 2k11 will be released on October 5th.

Rock Band 3 – E3 2010 Trailer and Preview

At E3 2010 MTV Games and Harmonix gave a preview of what’s new for the upcoming Rock Band 3. One of the goals for the game is to make gamers actually learn how to play instruments. The keyboard developed by Harmonix will be a 29 key (2 octaves) midi controller and can be used outside the game for music production.

The guitar for Rock Band 3 will also be more realistic using actual strings instead of just mashing buttons. Mad Catz created a guitar that has all notes assigned to a string like button where each fret is. A even more authentic option is a real Fender guitar with strings that you can plug into a amp.

It looks like the Rock Band brand is finally making the extra step to give fans some knowledge on how to really play music. The release date for Rock Band 3 hasn’t been announced yet but is expected to arrive later this year.

Mortal Kombat Rebirth Trailer

This is the trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat Rebirth movie. Some of the characters are Sonya Blade played by Jeri Ryan and Michael Jai White as Jax. The trailer was directed by Kevin Tancharoen with the fight scenes choreographed by Larnell Stoval. Check out the MK Rebirth trailer below…

Back 2 The Future – Sony Playstation 4 (See Through)

Tai Chiem created this concept design for the Sony Playstation 4. The controller is mostly clear, and images of available games appear on the see through console. This design would make any gamer hide their 360 and throw their PS3 out the nearest window. In the last pic, that spaceship on the right is the Xbox 720.
